Birth Control for Women

Project Background:

My name is Jessica Bordeaux and I am one of the Community Health Advocates for the Rosebud Area. This project was made possible by the University of Colorado Denver and the Native TeleHealth Outreach and Technical Assistance Program in Aurora, Colorado.

The idea for this project is to promote awareness and education about different types of birth control methods.

Due to the high rate of teenage pregnancy on the Rosebud Reservation, I thought that this would be a worthwhile endeavor for the community. It is my goal to see that every woman who is interested in birth control has the proper material with which to educate herself. Because after all. it is the woman's choice and her obligation.
